I’m a Lopper
Thomas Willingale has both a school and a road named after him. He fought for the right of locals , between the 11th November and 23rd April each year, to go into Epping Forest and lop off branches from trees that were taller than 6 ft. He also tried to stop the enclosure of forest and subsequent road building.
