A Sprinkle Of Glitter

I’m a few days late making H’s birthday cake. I’d bought some sparkly sugar which is supposed to be used like ordinary icing sugar, unfortunately it didn’t mix up like it. After adding extra milk, vanilla extract and sugar we produced some almost passable butter cream and just spread it on top of the cake. She loved the colour and it all tasted good. The cheeky thing said I should be in Great British Bake Off Extra Slice that shows the cake disasters!
