Twenty-Three Years
Twenty-Three Years, what a hoot, what an adventure, as Clare puts it;
“A one night stand that got out of hand”
We celebrated with breakfast at the Veterans Breakfast Club, before a gentle stroll through town, more coffee and then the slog up Trelawney, (steep hill from town to home), to home where we caught our breath for half an hour.
Then out to get a bag of coal, before it becomes an illegal substance and only available on the black market, some farm fresh bacon for a pre match sandwich tomorrow and a piece of cake each to celebrate our anniversary.
Ice cream at Pendennis Point rounded of the day.
Like everybody else we had literally hundreds of photographs taken on our wedding day but this one remains my favourite. It reminds me of how lucky I am.
