Tickets in the post

Started the day with a 9 am meeting followed by PhD thesis reading all day up to about 4 pm when I closed the book and finalised the report - now bring on tomorrow for the real thing. Started to work on paper proofs but didn’t finish in time as needed to go home get the car and pick up C the external from Germany. We actually had a lovely dinner out in Zizzis, funny to think she used to be my nemesis many years ago in the science world and now we do genuinely get on as friends and can speak quite candidly about life in our chosen profession.
