Walking the Mail Rail

After a working day in London for me (Chris), Annie came in to the city this evening as we had a special appointment with the Mail Rail. We've visited this once before to ride on the former postal railway (previous blip here). Tonight was different as instead of riding on the trains, we got to walk the track! It was a great chance to look much more closely than you do otherwise and to spend time learning much more about the railway, the history and operation. One of the group also doing the walk had worked on the railway when it was in operation and was able to add lots of additional details.
