Early to bed

After being called out in the middle of the night and simultaneously developing a cold, today did not improve things. It turns out that whilst snow may be fun for sledging, it is not good for working. The mile long walk in blizzard conditions up a farm track at 8:30 am, after abandoning my car at the main road was a poor start. I can only thank those who ferried me back from farms to gritted roads and to those who pushed me up hills and out of thick snow. Sorry for the snow I splattered in your faces in return!

An early night tonight seems well deserved!
