Shrove Tuesday

Everybody out today. John was taking Eda to nursery as he had a dental appt so wasn’t going to work quite as early as usual. Grace was off on the bus before 8.00.
We have had a day to ourselves.
Unexpectedly dry first thing so we took a walk down Gloucester Rd to treat ourselves to Brunch at the Tinto Lounge.
A small board on the counter announced that pancakes were available today. Who could resist - not me!
Sadly whilst in there the rain returned but we headed straight to the bus stop and the bus to Cribbs Causeway, the out of town shopping Mall. 
We had a coffee in M&S. but certainly didn’t need any more food after our brunch. One or two purchases made and then the bus back.
Waiting now for Grace to come home when we will go to collect Eda. I got my instructions this morning. I was to come with mummy to pick her up from nursery and bring an apple, sliced!
We may well have more pancakes this evening but you can’t have too many can you!
