It doesn't look like much, but one day, my picture here will be worth something... because it shows what this beach looks like before the new resort for which the foundation work is being done. It's looked like this for over a year.
The temperature is going up this week, so Diane and I had a shorter walk. Forty minutes, I think, but it was more than enough. We soon headed to Costa where we were met by Trevor, Diane's brother who is visiting. We sat and chatted about everything under the sun, then picked G up and went to Union Co-op to get our shawarmas. This is the spot where we sat and ate them. By this time, there was a lovely cool breeze, so it was perfect in the shade.
We got home via the new Carrefour Hypermarket in Wafi. I didn't think there was any space for an extension, but they've done it. If the access from the store to the car was as good as Festival City, we'd use this more but sadly, I don't think these things are designed by people who actually do the shopping.
We were more than ready to stay put and just chill. G's lesson got cancelled, and that too was perfect, for today! :)
