Cold feet!

A cold start to the day as you can see, but most of the ice melted later.
We’ve now had two men trying to sort our washing machine, but the guy on Thursday said he had to order another part and I got a text to say it was now in stock.
Last night, I got a text to say the engineer would arrive in the morning.
You can imagine how chuffed I was when I got a phone call this morning to say the engineer didn’t have the part and wouldn’t be!!! When I questioned why I had got a text to say that they had the part, I was told it was an automated response!!!
However, after a couple of phone calls, they decided that our 14 year old machine wasn’t worth repairing and we will be getting a new machine as a replacement.
I guess I have paid about £2000 in insurance fees over the years!!!
I had a lovely catch up with ex-colleagues this afternoon. Quite a few laughs and I think we have just about set the world to rights!!!
