Fading rose petal

The white roses that my husband gave me almost 2 weeks ago have almost faded now. I was amazed by how long they stayed beautiful! After all these snow shots the roses provided the ideal opportunity for some indoor practice with my macro lens. I quite like how this one turned out, especially with the dark background.
