Maryport

I stopped at Maryport to eat my sandwich on my way between Workington and Wigton and to get a longer view and a broader horizon after my management supervision. As I was waiting I stood looking out the window at all the cars that fill the industrial estate where our base is and wondered at all the fundamentally systemic changes that need to happen at every turn and the difficulties that go with it, at every turn. Feeling pretty frustrated with all things systemic, I headed off for Wigton stopping here to appreciate the boundary of two ancient continents that date back 460 million years. You can’t beat geology for a bit of perspective.
