What a day. Started early with two meetings that went pretty well and constructively, then some useful quiet desk time
Two contrasting discussions later-couldn’t have been more different from each other. How do I get through this....I wonder sometimes.
Spent the early evening at a dance, mask and music performance of ancient narratives from First Nation people, the Kwakwaka’wakw community from Vancouver Island. Lots of explanations about what the dances represented, and I was struck by the emphasis on the oral tradition that linked generations through the  centuries.
Sometimes webs of discussion and shared narratives can be so positive, other times quite the opposite.
Not helped when I got home and found a letter saying my tax return was overdue and I owed squillions of pounds. There must have been a mistake since I did it in December, but I’ll sort it later...just as well tomorrow’s another day!
