Boathouse 4- HM Naval Base, Portsmouth

Built in 1939 in response to the need for the rearmament for WWII. It has its own dock and lock. It is home to the UK's largest collection of small Royal Naval Craft. It currently combines an interactive exhibition, traditional boatbuilding training and a brasserie overlooking the harbour. 
This is just one of many, many attractions at the Naval Base. Others include HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and the Mary Rose Museum.
