A #Loire Barque

Bailing Irma out again today after all the rain. Irma is an old #Loire fishing 'barque' a wooden flat bottomed boat that we use as a tender for La Sterne when she is moored off bank of the Loire. In the summer we put a outboard engine on her to get up stream against the current but she is also great to use under oar. It is another world out on the river in the summer and you can lose yourself in the peace, calm and beauty of the reflections on the water.
