Detour

I was on my way to RPA and pulled off Parramatta Rd for ten minutes to wait until I could park.

I was most surprised to see this little store in Trafalgar St Annandale, opposite the public school.
It looks like it belongs in a decaying town in the central west, not in uber trendy inner west Sydney.
There must have been a time when it provided sausage rolls and sandwiches to the school kids.
I suspect the only reason it hasn't been tarted up, and the signs restored, is that the purveyor of school lunches twenty, or maybe thirty years ago, is still alive and living there.
