Harry And The Park Ranger

As the sun was shining I decided a longer walk was required for Roxy and I.

 We headed up to the lodge and stopped in at the hide hoping to spot some red squirrels. While we were there Harry was helping the Park Ranger to fill the bird and squirrel feeders. The ranger told me that they haven't spotted any squirrels for a few weeks now. They suspect that the pine martens have discovered how to get into the nut supply and are visiting the area more often. She is contemplating stopping feeding for a bit in the hope that the pine martens will move on then the squirrels will return. Watch this space ...........
