Beautiful heterogeneity in wood chip

After gym session and Fit4Life class at the Peak today I was reported absent from the obligatory post class coffee and blether. It was a quick change and off to the allotments for me to accept delivery of 2 loads of wood and bark chip from Lowland Trees. The provide this valuable resource free of charge and allotment holders make good use of it on paths and areas between raised beds. It is an excellent weed suppressant and good under foot. It can also be composted and used to add organic matter to the sandy allotment soil thereby improving its water retention..

Looking closely at the delivery it is a work of art in terms of its constituents: their sizes, shapes and colours.

Can anyone find the cone in this collage?
