Scruffy Urchin

On the way back from school we stopped to get fuel.  The two ladies in the filling station thought CyclopsJnr was very cute, in a slightly dishevelled and muddy way.  They asked him if he got muddy playing football and he answered with disarming honesty "no, I just like playing with mud, it's funny".  They nearly fell off their chairs laughing.

He's smart when we send him to school every day.  He just doesn't stay that way.

He had 3 more pancakes for breakfast and 2 for afternoon snack (we made an excessive quantity of batter), so I think we can safely say that the wee Scottish variety pancakes were a success.
