for hump day

not feeling well but - pushing through to get - a bunch of little things - done around the house - you know the ones - which pile up without - you even being aware - laundry, dishes, dusting - sorting through papers - mundane stuff which must - be accomplished to keep - your house neat - somehow it’s feeling more - like a big chore - when i really wish - to crawl back into bed - is that awful of me

my saving grace was having - a remnant of pink - still left in my bouquet - to snap so i could - at least call it...
