Vole Hunting

Distant shortie hunting today in the owl field with a biting chill wind in it's face making it difficult. 

Saw JDO up there and at one point we were standing in hail by the side of a stone wall willing the owls to fly but like any sensible bird they were hunkering down just as we should have been but weren't.
