Mufasa Mask.

The Lion King. Fantastic show, so much talent and energy on stage at the Playhouse in Edinburgh today. Based on the 1990s Disney film with excellent music by Elton John; artists from over 50 countries appeared in the stage production today. Previously The Lion King was the top-earning title in box-office history for both stage productions and films, you can see why.
I’d chosen great unobstructed view seats (Christmas present for my wife!) which were very convenient for the entrance/exit of the large venue. The sound quality, lighting and special effects were superb, the costumes outstanding and legendary. We particularly enjoyed the live orchestra and two percussionists housed in opposite theatre boxes. There was a fair bit of marketing in sales stands in the foyer area including the iconic mask/headdress (in my photo).

The drive home was unremarkable apart from the last few miles when sleet came on; black ice had formed by the time we parked up.
