Snowing hard outside tonight

A simple eight-mile drive home from work ended up taking almost two hours as we got caught as the snow started to fall in ernest again. Cars were stuck on the hills en route, and the road was blocked by a crash. It started to look like we'd have to abandon the car and walk. But, after an 'interesting' journey through the back lanes, with the car scooting down snow covered lanes we finally got back. And to celebrate our safe arrival, what better than dinner in the village pub. Make mine a pint... and a steak, thanks!
