Ring or knock or both?

it's been another glorious winter's day here. The sun shone, but the wind was cold.

I've been at home, pottering on as I do.

I went down to the shop and called to deliver a leaflet to a friend. There was no one at home, but I had stand and assimilate all the instructions before I tried to make my presence known!

Good old A A Milne. Loved by generations of children and parents alike.

I'm off to see A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood  at the cinema in Hexham tonight. I understand it is a feel good film.
