An exciting drive home

The satnav decided the normal route home from QMU was too busy today and took us on an alternative route over the moors near the Moorfoot hills.  The (very) minor road we drove along was so full of pot holes in places that there was no real road surface  and the sun was so low that we couldn’t see the road anyway.   We parked in a muddy gateway so I could take a picture of the Moorfoot hills - which looked a bit weird in the snow.
