Thorn

In the park, the Blackthorn has burst into bloom. It was looking fine in the sunshine.

The first of the cowslips is also out, but it will probably be another month before they're at their peak.

Oh, and the mistle thrushes fledged at lunchtime, apparently all surviving the drop down to the road. Now they just need to keep out of the way of the peregrines.
