Book Group

My turn to host the afternoon book group. I once joined this when we moved to this area in the 1970s but soon moved to live in two other areas, but when we moved back in retirement I joined up again. There is more gossip than intellectual discussion but it is very relaxing. Today we had a classic - Silas Marner - but had a surprisingly good discussion. We agreed we had all detested it when read at school but had all enjoyed it this time!
