Finally Arrived!!!

Well, a very early start for us at 2.30 am to get down to Gatwick Airport for our second attempt at getting to St. Lucia.

I had filled the Jag up with fuel and put JFs car in the garage with mine on the drive, only to get to leave and then the computer came up with auto brake fault which meant I was unable to put the car into gear.

Unable to move the car to get JFs out, we raised Ken from his bed to try and find a solution. He rang RAC who gave us advice to try and get the brake released.

This didn't work and a man from local garage had no other option so Ken, our hero, drove us all the way to Gatwick Airport.

Tired and sweaty, we are now unpacking at our beautiful hotel in Rodney Bay St Lucia.

Ken at least has the satisfaction of a trip to Wembley after Bradford City beat our team over two legs to reach the Final.

Looking forward to the next 12 nights here in St Lucia in hot sunshine!!!!!!! Bit of a contrast, eh?
