Paper for Grace

I was pushed into my English teacher mode today when Grace sought me for help with a paper for a college course. What I really like about Grace’s writing is her voice, such a hard concept to teach. This paper was about cultural identity, and it was interesting to read what Grace had experienced, and how she wanted to grow now. I am so happy and proud of her in a new voice. She is right at home in a new, diverse community, the University of Oregon.
