Student driver

A brisk day of gusty wind and, until mid-afternoon, sunshine. Five and a half years ago we put solar panels up on our southern exposure roof, and they do well on days like today - they produce most efficiently on colder, sunny days. (They produce the most, however, during the long days of summer.)

I. drove us to her eye appointment this morning, which involved some tension and nerves but was overall successful (the driving, that is). The early days of driving lessons were more fun. Now it’s real traffic instead of a remote parking lot. Anyway, she continues to accrue the necessary practice hours, and I get to take blip fotos out the window.
