Ark, The Herald Angels Sing

Well, those wellies got an early baptism. This is West Park, Long Eaton. A lovely big park, big enough to accomodate 3 different cricket clubs each with their own pavilion, a bowls club, a cafe, bandstand, 'a squrity up from the ground when you walk on it' water feature, skatepark, fitness equipment circuit, countless football pitches (although not as many as Hackney Marshes used to have before they turned it into an olympic car park) and now a lake, encompassing all of the above features.
