Fresh Snow Fresh Slopes
We headed off to a different side of the valley for our last day of skiing.
The queues were long again but it was wonderful to ski down through trees.
By early afternoon, the wind was howling and ski lifts started to shut down again. We’d had warning that this might happen so we skied as much as possible before but finishing off on some low slopes, being battered by bitter icy wind, still felt good enough to cherish.
Then a stop in Freiburg for some supper and back on the coach for the long drive home.
I’m a new fan of Oak Hall holidays.
The extra is a picture of Elbows, not me. I sent the photo to a family chat and my big brother thought it was me. Hmm ....
