Cold...

It's so cold here on the Jersey Shore... :/

The number of birds visiting the pond has tripled. Ice has now formed on the rocks. Tiny ice cicles hang from the edges...
It's the first year for this water feature so I'm watching it closely :)
Running water (even just a trickle) is so needed by our bird friends in the Winter.... The heater is working well so far, but this is the first time the temps have been this far below freezing. We'll see how things fair by the weekend. Number of bathing species today ~ 11
