Water of Leith

haven’t done the walk up to Balerno for a while and it was a bit of a challenge with 3 different areas closed and then the rain and snow arrived but still nice and so many changes with lots of new houses especially the stretch from Craiglockart, ended up on the newly refurbished Balerno Inn which was ok but a bit too pretentious (and pricey) for me, the Grey Horse across the road was more inviting but with a nice fire and a friendly dog but the beer hadn’t been pulled through yet and there was no food, unless I wanted to get a carry out from the Coop which I didnae ...will try again on a nicer day
