Tulips

What a miserable day - it has rained softly all day, and it is so wet. And yet another storm this weekend, Storm Jorge will be affecting the UK. Where do they find these names? to be fair, they must be running out of names by now as there has been a storm every weekend for the past three weeks.

I had to drag Xena out for her walk, but once in the woods she enjoyed herself and played with a few dogs that she met. The woods are so muddy, it is just horrible at the moment.

I have planned my meals for the weekend, went and bought the food and then came home and made some soup for lunch tomorrow. Luke and Meriel, and Adam and Jenni, arrive tonight so hopefully they all manage to get here in time that we can eat dinner together.

I was planning to photograph some blossoms for Flower Friday but then the weather scuppered those plans. Instead it was an indoor shot of some tulips that I bought this week. 

More worrying news about the Coronavirus, it makes one think twice before booking to go away.
