Africa and Colour

It is very cold, grey and bleak outside. So, once again, I have blipped a little bit of colour. This is from a painting that came from Africa. There is a lot going on there at the moment and Algeria is in the news. I used to work in the oil industry and can imagine what the camp was like. There is always the threat of some disaster in that business, whether accidental or other. It is a peculiar way of life for Ex Pats, but can also be exciting and challenging, in between excruciating periods of boredom.

Africa, hot, sunny and lots of desert. How different is that from our experience in the UK at the moment.
