Daffodils and flooding

Sussex is once again flooded!
On our way back from lunch at a garden centre Mr U&L and I took a slight detour to see if the wild daffodils of Hampshire hill were in bloom yet. As you can see we were not disappointed - although getting close enough to get a shot without being clogged down in claggy mud was a bit of a challenge!
I have added a shot looking the other way - back to where I was parked in extras - as you can see it was even more wet in that direction, and Slaugham pond (just down the road) was so high it was nearly lapping over the road, something I have never seen before!
