Shift handover

Tickets to watch shift handover are just a pound each, but have an 18 month waiting list??!!!

However when it’s the ceremony of the keys, the oldest military ceremony in the world, a mere 700 years old, it’s probably worth the wait.

So while waiting, we’ve visited the Wine Library, just round the corner, a vaulted cellar with interesting (not in a British way either) wines. I had a glass of Macedonian red, which was extraordinarily nice. Who knew!
