Little Miss Crinkle Nose...

Lola has had the most excellent day with her friends Bertie and Toby.

They arrived with their owners Jennifer and Paul and the peace was shattered!  They play so well together.  Lola and Bertie have equal energy levels and wish to be everyone's best friend.  They have very similar colouring and faces (we got them mixed up loads when they were running about together in a blur! :-)  Toby is the youngest but the most laid back.  A real gentle giant.  When Lola and Bertie were running about and playing endless games of bitey face, Toby was sitting quietly at our feet, happy to be patted and have his ears ruffled every so often.

My vegetarian lunch went down well, everything turned out as it should.  Paul made a stunning chocolate torte for dessert and it was absolutely delicious.  A perfect chocolate hit! 

Lunch over, David and Paul took the dogs out in the snow (yes it was snowing heavily all through lunch) for a runabout.  They avoided the moor and went round the golf course instead.  Thankfully the snow had stopped and the thaw was well underway.  They boys were spotless on their return but Lola was soaking and filthy.  Half an hour in her Ruff n Tumble coat sorted her out.

Jennifer, Paul and the boys left just after 5pm and Lola and I had a long snooze!   And we ate so much at lunch time there was no need for dinner. Result :-))
