nimby (nim-bi). noun.
a person who objects to the siting of unpleasant developments in their neighbourhood. origin: not in my back yard.

here, the nimby is dog, who objects very strongly to bob's suggestion that he build a somewhat unsightly, and rather red, hotel right next door to his stunning whitehall resisdence.
