Electric!

Last night at work Ahmed dropped the bombshell that there has been yet another hold-up in the sale of the shop. It should have all been over today, and now it is all up in the air again. We are both gutted!

It could go on indefinitely. Yes, it means I have a job for a bit longer. What I don't have is a life outside of it and parent responsibilities, and I'm exhausted from working like a donkey.

I had a hair appointment today - I would not have bothered if I'd known - it's 2 1/2 hours I couldn't really spare, and my hair's under my hat all the time anyway. I managed to lose my phone while out. It must have fell out of my bag after I left the hairdressers'. I phoned it when I got home and fortunately someone had picked it up! He said he was going to hand it in at the police station after taking his kids to a local indoor play centre but I may as well go and get it straight from him!

Brian drove me down, and I took this shot  of one of the decorated electricity boxes in the area on my newly rescued phone.

Psyching myself up for work again tonight!
