THE CORMORANT.

Went to the canal this morning, it was sunny, but a very cold wind, was lucky to find the cormorant again at the canal basin. It is so nervous, but I managed to move very slowly towards it and got a close blip. My extra is one of the pair of swans, who stupidly have once again got a nest which is sitting in water with loads of rubbish all around them. Not sure if it will survive. The canal path was flooded with the water running into the canal, so after bathing the dogs I only did a three  mile walk as it was so mucky.
Steam cleaned the kitchen floor when I came back had lunch and now it is extremely windy, very dark and looks like rain.
