Scratching

Maija is scratching the sore spot like mad, so I am rubbing her neck as well as her face whenever I can. I wish I could also tell her that the stitches will be taken off on Monday afternoon.
The vet called yesterday and told of the analysis of the specimen. It was malign growth but of the kind that does not send metastases - whatever that means as she is already nineteen. I shall learn more on Monday.

But we have made progress. She has been outdoors, and she is sleeping well. She is also eating well. Two more nights! :-)
