Formby Beach

My friend and I had a change of scene for our walk today going along the beach at Formby. I wanted to see how the dunes had been affected by the recent storms and they have certainly lost large chunks. It was very windy but bright and fresh. My friend's dog enjoyed a good run and met lots of other dogs. We walked back to the car through the squirrel reserve - still no squirrels to be seen due the virus which has affected them badly but the trees and the light and shadows were lovely all the same (see extra)
Tonight has been our tennis club presentation dinner which was very well organised and the food was delicious. No prizes for me though - still I didn't enter any competitions so that might explain why!
