Ornate

I couldn't find anything to make a silly Saturday blip for today but did come across this ornate wood carving that I found attractive and thought I would share.

Doug came to visit for a while this afternoon and helped me sort out what was wrong with my Kindle, which hasn't been allowing me to see the books that I downloaded from the library. Then he and l sat and talked for a couple of hours about his mom's health, coronavirus and, unavoidably, politics. Doug used to be a Republican, but not in the age of Trump, and he's one of the most reasonable people I've ever known. He lets me rant.

Otherwise it was a long, quiet and very chilly day. I'm hoping tomorrow will be brighter and perhaps Lex will visit.
