What old cats do best.

This is Boofhead, our oldest cat, sleeping on the Other Half's side of the bed. (We have 3, Whisky you have already seen) This is his place during the day, and at night he sleeps on my side of the bed. But he is well trained, as at 6.00 am (give or take a few minutes) he gets up, and goes over to the Other Half, and proceeds to stomp on him. This is the message, that it is time to be fed! I can sleep peacefully on.
He came to us from my sons place. My son had got another kitten, and Boofhead was NOT IMPRESSED and went walk-about. Four weeks later he arrived at our place - about 1km around the bay - and he was duly feed, pampered and returned to his home. A few days later, he went walk-about again, this time he didn't take very long to arrive, got fed, etc and return to his home. The third time this happened I rang my son to tell him that Boofhead was here again, he said,
"Well Mum, you know what they say about animals choosing their owners, it looks like he has chosen you!" So this is where he has been for the last 8 years.
In his younger years, was a good hunter of rats & mice, but is now mostly leaving that to the 2 younger cats.
