The intercalary day

Like all days of the week, windy and showery and then this extra day of the year was filled with the unexpected; meeting a former colleague confined to a wheelchair and airing out her pains and complaints of the past year... so sad to hear off and glad she felt relief from sharing it with me.
Moving on from our encounter I spotted the burst of sunlight in the windows of this office building and snapped it... my single blip for the day it remained, as at home a phonecall waited me with another cry for help... so weird such events don't come in single number.
