Sunshine and goldcrest

A lovely sunny day. Out to fill up the feeders being careful not to slide on the icy decking.I sat and watched the birds arrive and was delighted to see this little goldcrest in the scots pine. Plenty of birds pairing up now and the bluetits are showing an interest in at least one of the boxes.The woodpeckers have been hammering again, so many dead trees to chose from.
Mike got back just after 2.30pm.
