Blue Haven

We set off at 6am today for the 750km drive to Esperance! Along the way we were quite worried about the weather as it was massively overcast and we passed through some rainstorms. The whole week was predicted to have similar weather and we had planned to swim and snorkel most of the time!

We arrived about 3pm having seen the glorified pit stop that is the tourist attraction of wave rock on the way.

Between the dark clouds we actually got some strong sun, though it was cold and windy (about 20 degrees, cold when you spend most of your time in 40+)

Checked into the hostel and got takeaway pizza.
