Castlemilk community consultation

Community consultation up in Castlemilk today on the draft proposals for improving the part of Castlemilk Woodland Park known as Castlemilk Pond. Really interesting day and good to gauge local opinion on the proposals and a raft of other issues ranging from the economic rationale for Glasgow hosting the Commonwealth Games to problems with parks maintenance. It was heartening that a good number of people we spoke to were interested in further involvement with the project - from volunteer clean-ups and maintenance to events and community days.
