Snow Days

A beautiful morning sunrise over the frozen lake before breakfast. After that it was time to thermal up. A fun day heading out over the lake on snow shoes to dig an ice cave which was a first for everyone involved, it ended up not quite being the palatial pad we set out to make! A trip out on dog sleds to explore the surrounding landscape, we returned back to the ice cave for the tastiest reindeer stew ever. Then it was time to head back across the lake in the dark admiring the stunning starry night. Hot showers were very welcome before dinner and then we all crashed early to bed.
